Boston By Foot regular tours are offered daily from May through October.
Reservations are not required. Tours proceed rain or shine.

Tickets may be purchased from Boston By Foot guides at the start of the tour.
To join a tour, meet your tour guide at the locations below.

All tours are 90 minutes. $12 for adults, $8 for children (ages 6-12) unless otherwise noted.

Beacon Hill

Monday through Friday at 5:30 PM
Saturday at 10:00 AM
Sunday at 2:00 PM
From the golden dome of the State House to the elegant homes of Louisburg Square, the Beacon Hill Tour offers examples of the work of architect Charles Bulfinch and his followers. By daylight or by twilight, "The Hill" casts a spell of enchantment.
Meet your guide in front of the State House steps on Beacon Street across from The Boston Common.

Boston Underfoot

Sunday at 2:00 PM
Admission: $14.00 per person (includes T-fare)
Follow Boston's great engineering feats from the filling of the Back Bay to the Big Dig, now America's largest public works project. Ride on the nation's first subway; and learn about such taken-for-granted utilities as water, sewage, gas, steam, and electricity. T-fare included in admission.
Meet your guide in front of the State House steps on Beacon Street across from The Boston Common.

Boston By Little Feet

Monday and Saturday at 10:00 AM
Sunday at 2:00 PM,
Admission: $8.00 per person
This child's-eye view of the Freedom Trail's architecture and history is especially designed for young walkers of 6 to 12 years. A free Explorer's Map is included.
Meet your guide on Congress Street in front of Faneuil Hall at the Samuel Adams statue.

The Heart of the Freedom Trail

Daily at 10:00 AM
An ideal introduction to the city, this historic walk features seven designated Freedom Trail sites. It includes the Old State House, where the Declaration of Independence was first read in Boston; the site of the Boston Massacre; and Faneuil Hall, "The Cradle of Liberty".

Literary Landmarks

Saturdays at 2:00 PM
Our literary stroll highlights the homes and haunts of such great Victorians as Hawthorne, Thoreau, Alcott, and Longfellow. Individually, they were writers and poets without peer. Collectively, they made Boston the epicenter of American Letters.
Meet your guide at the corner of School and Washington Streets outside Borders Books.

The North End

Fridays and Saturdays at 2:00 PM
Boston's oldest neighborhood is a delightful labyrinth of narrow streets and exotic marketplaces. A gateway for immigrants from around the world, it is also home to the Old North Church and the Paul Revere House.

Victorian Back Bay

Mondays at 5:30 PM
Fridays and Sundays at 10:00 AM
Boston's Back Bay embraces one of America's richest collections of art and architecture. Its treasures include grand rows of Back Bay townhouses, Trinity Church, the Boston Public Library, and New Old South Church.
