fee, included in the tuition. Tuition is due on notification of admission
to the course and enrollment is contingent on full payment of tuition.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Guides in training attend all lectures and lunchtime discussion groups,
complete four written assignments of three to five pages in length, pass
a final slide identification exam, conduct a practice tour and agree to
lead six ninety-minute tours during the upcoming season. There are no
course requirements for auditors although auditors are invited to participate
fully in all course activities.

ACADEMIC CREDIT
A
number of colleges in the Boston area have awarded academic credit to
the graduates of the Boston By Foot guide in training program. These credits,
however, are awarded on an individual basis, and those interested should
discuss the matter with their advisors. There is an additional nominal
administrative fee payable to Boston By Foot at the time of enrollment,
for those seeking academic credit.

ATTENDING A SINGLE SESSION
We
welcome anyone who wishes to join us for just one or two sessions of the
Series. If you have a special area of interest, or just want to sample
what Boston By Foot is all about, this is a great way. Admission is $35,
and includes the lecture at the BAC, the field trip afterwards, but not
course materials. Advance registration is required.
